I was born in Germany and raised in Vienna, Austria. My parents are very much into art and music, so i got introduced to violinmaking and liked it ever since i started when i was 20 years old. Violinmaking brought me to Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and New York City. I have a couple of hilarious nephews and a charming niece and i like to work on my reputation as quite an aunt... I like to listen to concerts, to go for hikes, riding my bicycle in Vienna, spend time with family and friends, i love to hang out in Viennese Cafès, chill or philosophize for hours.
I was born to parents who, when they got baptized, where impressed by the members really trying to live up to their beliefs. And so do my parents. The gospel had a strong part in our family life, it was a reality and gave us a lot of strength. When my father asked me before my 8th birthday if i wanted to be baptized i was surprised, i had always felt that it was a good thing to be baptized and i felt the influence of Heavenly Father and how the gospel worked in my life, so of course i wanted to be baptized. After early teenageyears with a lot of spiritual imput and experiences followed a critical and somewhat sceptical period - i was 20 when i decided again, that a life within the gospel was the life i wanted. I believe in the Atonement of Jesus Christ. The gospel helps me to focus and refocus on the important things in life.
I work in the childrens organisation of my ward. With the help of other members we organise the sunday services for the children. We try to create an environment, in wich the children can learn about their relationship to God and Gods relationship to them. The children also take over little tasks that help them grow in their abilities and selfesteem. I try to help the children feel, that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and exist, and are interested in them and love them. In my workshop i organize concerts and exhibitions, neighbours and friends get the opportunity to share and enjoy their talents in a friendly and entry-free space. I hope to add some colour and soul to the neighbourhood as well as an opportunity for the people who live in my area to get to know eachother.
