The choices you make in this life really do matter
We all make many choices every day. Whatever we choose—good or bad—we also choose, knowingly or not, the consequences of our choices. Lasting happiness comes from choosing to do what God wants us to do. Unhappiness comes from making wrong choices.
Sometimes you will make wrong choices. Everyone does. Heavenly Father knew this would happen. He provided a way for you to overcome your mistakes and weaknesses through the Atonement of His Son, Jesus Christ. Through Christ’s Atonement you can repent and be forgiven of your wrong choices and learn from them.
As you learn to make the choices that Heavenly Father wants you to make, you will become more and more like Him and experience greater peace and happiness—not only in this life, but eternally.
