Eat meals together
Eat meals together

In today’s fast-paced world, sometimes it is difficult to gather the family for a meal. But mealtime can be a wonderful time together.

Here are some suggestions for making mealtime more enjoyable:

  • Let your children help prepare a meal. This can build self-confidence. It also helps them appreciate the work of providing for your family.
  • Stimulate conversation by asking family members about their day. Invite them to share something that happened or something they learned.
  • Invite grandparents, other relatives, or friends to join you for dinner.
  • Turn holiday meals into festive occasions. Encourage family members to express creativity and appreciation for the holiday in their own way.
Set a goal to have at least one meal together as a family each day.
