Help children with their schoolwork
Help children with their schoolwork

Homework can cause anxiety and frustration for children. When you take time to help them, you can relieve those burdens and draw closer to your children.

Here are some things you can do to help:

  • Ask your children about their school assignments.
  • Offer to help with work your children find difficult.
  • Teach children that they are responsible for their work.
  • Get to know your children’s teachers.
  • Find out about long-term projects, and help your children understand the importance of planning ahead.
  • Build your children’s confidence. Compliment them for work well done. Patiently work with them when they struggle.
Helping your children with homework sends a strong message about your love for them and about the importance of education. Their trust in you will grow as you work together for their success.
