Participate in your children's activities
Participate in your children’s activities

Activities like music lessons, homework, school activities, team practices, and games can make your child’s schedule as busy as yours. You can spend quality time with your children by participating in these activities.

Here are some ways to get involved:

  • Volunteer to be a coach, group leader, or assistant in your children’s activities. This will help you to be involved in their interests and progress.
  • Show support for your child by attending sporting events and other activities whenever possible.
  • Offer to chaperone or drive on trips when the need arises. Participate in group conversations with your child and his or her friends.
As you work or play side by side with your children, you show that you care about what they are doing.
