Prayer

The Savior has said, “Pray in your families unto the Father” (Book of Mormon, 3 Nephi 18:21). Families that pray together receive blessings and guidance from Heavenly Father.

Our Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to talk to Him in prayer. Jesus said that we should “pray always” (Luke 21:36). A prophet has also said, “Let your hearts be . . . drawn out in prayer unto [God] continually” (Book of Mormon, Alma 34:27).

Prayer is one of the greatest blessings we have. It allows us to communicate with our Heavenly Father and to seek His guidance in all matters, big or small.

Family prayer helps us to overcome challenges and grow closer together as a family.
