Work
Work

Families that work together become more unified.

Also, by working in the family, children learn work habits that will benefit them throughout their lives. Parents have a responsibility to teach their children the value of work.

Work is a part of God’s plan of happiness—for individuals and for families. As a loving Father, God knew that work could contribute to our well-being.

Honest work not only supplies our physical needs for food, clothing, shelter, security, and the like, it can also serve less tangible needs for dignity, self-respect, and meaningful service.

A certain satisfaction comes from providing for yourself and your family and from making meaningful contributions to the world around you.

Work can contribute to your happiness in this life. Learning to work for your own welfare and for the good of others is part of God’s plan of happiness.
