Baptism
Who can join the Church?

The Savior invites all people to come unto Him (Book of Mormon, Moroni 10:30–32, 3 Nephi 27:13–14). This includes women and men, people of all ethnic backgrounds, and those who are single, married, divorced, or widowed. A person must be at least eight years old and be prepared to live the teachings of Christ’s gospel in order to be baptized into the Church.

A person must also have faith in Jesus Christ and repent of his or her sins. Once an individual has repented and come to understand and accept the commitments and obligations that come with joining the Church, he or she may be baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Those who are not baptized members are welcome and invited to attend worship services and participate in Church activities!
