How can I learn more about God? God wants you to come to know Him and His Son, Jesus Christ. He has provided many means to help you know and understand Him better. These include: The Holy Bible, which records the teachings and deeds of Jesus Christ, as well as the words of God’s prophets who lived before Christ. The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ, which is a marvellous companion to the Bible. Like the Bible, it teaches of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. It also tells of Christ’s visit to the inhabitants of ancient America. Apostles and prophets, who are special witnesses of God. We invite you to read the Prophet Joseph Smith’s account of the visitation of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in 1820. It reveals much about the nature of God. His Church, which provides opportunities to learn more about Him and His Son, Jesus Christ.
