Hi, I'm Anthony
I'm a filmmaker, blogger, and social media enthusiast. I'm the creator of a popular YouTube Documentary Series and I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I'm a husband and father still going to college studying Technology Engineering Education with a minor in film and communications. I served a mission in Spain, Bilbao from 2003 to 2005. I'm a convert to the church and was baptized in November of 2001.
Why I am a Mormon
In high school I noticed a lot of my friends attended different Christian churches. At the time I was more agnostic and was confused how there could be so many churches. My parents were looking for something more in their religious experience and were asking around for a church to attend. They were told about the LDS church and soon after their first meeting there decided to be baptized. I on the other hand took my time, but once I listened to the missionaries talk about the restoration of the gospel I knew what they were saying was true. Being a member changed my whole outlook on life and brought our family closer together.
Personal Stories
Why do Mormons go on missions?
I served a mission to bring the same joy and truths that missionaries brought to my family. I wanted to testify to others about the truth of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth today. My younger brother is currently serving a mission to do the same thing in South Korea. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought so much happiness to our lives as well as those of our family and friends. It has brought answers to many of lives questions and has brought peace to our home. We serve missions because we want to testify of Christ and bring happiness and charitable service to others.
How I live my faith
I've been a member of the church for about 10 years and have had many opportunities to serve. I've helped organize service projects, dances, and social events for my ward and community. I currently use my faith to promote the positive side of urban culture found within my community in an attempt to inspire people to live their faith while still doing what they love. I've been a part of Boy Scouts of America, Seminary, The Red Cross, and Caritas.
