About Me
I like to play trumpet and guitar. I like to watch movies, comedies are my favorite. I listen to rock music, the Foo Fighters are my favorite band right now. Another hobby I have is astronomy. I think the universe is fascinating and studying it helps me appreciate more the creations that God has given us. I served a mission for the church in San Antonio and learned Spanish there. I have been home for about 2 and a half years.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because I have read The Book of Mormon and have prayed to know the truth of it. When I prayed, I felt the spirit testify to me that it is true. As I have lived the teachings of the church I have felt the love of Christ in my life and I have found true happiness. Living the standards of the gospel have brought me closer to God and I feel his love in my life every day. I know that God lives and that Jesus Christ is His son. I know that Jesus lived and died for us so that we can repent and receive forgiveness of our sins and be able to live with God again.

Please share your feelings/testimony of Joseph Smith.
I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet. He was called of God and Jesus Christ to restore their church to the Earth. I know that he translated The Book of Mormon by the gift and power of God. I am so grateful for all that he did and suffered to bring the true gospel back to the Earth. It has blessed my life more than I can express.
How has the Book of Mormon brought you closer to God?
Every time I read The Book of Mormon I feel the spirit testify to me that it is true. The Book of Mormon truely testifies of Christ and His sacrifice He made for us. As I learn more about Christ, it helps me gain a desire to come to know Him better and follow His example better. By striving to be like Jesus I come closer to God. I feel His influence in my life stronger and I recognize the blessings He gives me every day.
How I live my faith
I attend church every Sunday and I study the scriptures daily. I pray often and I try to follow the example of Jesus Christ in everything I do.
