About Me

I am a Software Engineer working mostly on Web Applications. I also have had the opportunity to work on some mobile application in some community developed apps.

The best part of my life is being a father and husband. I love my family so much, and I know that they love me too. My family makes me happier than I can explain and are the main driving force in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

The teachings of the church help make me a better person. It has strengthened my family and brings peace into my home. When I read the Book of Mormon, I feel the Holy Ghost testify of the truth and importance of the mission of Jesus Christ.

Through the teaching of Jesus Christ, I feel my life fill with joy and happiness.

Personal Stories

How has attending Church services helped you?

Going to church helps to strength my faith in and love for the Savior. It helps me understand how I can be more like him, how I can love others as He does. Going to church meetings helps me remember to keep my priorities in the proper order. They fill me with hope for better days, with gratitude for what I have, and love for those around me.

How I live my faith

I love being able to work with others in my ward. When they call to ask for help, I try my best to drop what I am doing to help them because I know that they would do the same for me. There is unity and love there. I try to be a part of that as best I can.

I often have opportunities to teach lessons at church as part of my church calling. This has been a wonderful experience as I have found that through teaching, I have learn more than I have taught.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

Husbands and wives have very important, even sacred roles. Together they lead their family. While one is not better or more important than the other, they do have many different responsibilities.

A Husband is to love and provide for his wife and children. He is to set an example of service, love, and faith. He is to be a councilor to his wife, just as she is to council with him. He is to lead the family, with his wife at his side. He is responsible for making sure the family has family prayer and scripture study, and is to provide for the family.

A wife loves, guides and directs. She is a light that fills a home with peace and happiness. She is to teach the children, make sure they are nurtured and cared for.

Husbands should help their wife, and wives should help their husbands. Together they can make their home a holy place.

The role of husband and wife in the family is to first and foremost love each other! Wow, revolutionary!!!
I have found that when there is love and complete commitment between my husband and I, there is no problem that we cannot face together. It is much easier to teach the children with love and to handle life's challenges.
My husband and I are equals. I feel loved, respected, and appreciated by him. I hope he feels the same things from me.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes. We believe Jesus Christ is our Savior and we follow His teachings. We believe He is essential for salvation.
