Lindsey: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Lindsey

I'm an Air Force wife, a mother and an active member. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Air Force and than I married into it! I love to arrange flowers and build my own furniture for my home. I'm a new mother and couldn't be more excited!

Why I am a Mormon

Being raised Mormon was a wonderful experience but I wanted to find out I believed because of what I knew, not because of what I was told to. I left and went on my own for about 2 years. During this time; nothing made more sense to me than the church. I found I believed in Jesus Christ, the holy ghost and Heavenly Father. Than finding a man who believed the same as me, meant so much more. Having your very own testimony is so important. It makes your belief your own, something for you to rely on and believe in.

Personal Stories

How does making right choices help us make more right choices?

One of the hardest things for me was to start being active again. I had got into a routine and was comfortable; but I knew it was wrong. I remember the first time I made the right decision to avoid something unclean. I felt an overwhelming feeling of; "I just did that. I can do that again!" Once I made the right decision the first time, the 2nd wasn't so bad. Each decision I made became easier to make because I was more confident in my dealings with man. I knew I was making the right decision therefore I knew it benefit me and create a happier enviornment. I was brought closer to Heavenly Father through choosing the right and became proud of the decisions I knew I could make.

How I live my faith

I've only recently become active in the church but for the past year and a half, I've helped my sister with organizing get togethers with other members. We plan theme's, lessons, games and refreshments!
