Hi, I'm Mitch
I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am currently a Civil Engineering college student, trying to balance life, studying, and living the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Why I am a Mormon
I decided to follow Jesus Christ's church because I felt the His power in my life. Growing up in a Mormon family with the majority of my friends being LDS I always have known about the church. But, there came a point in my life where I needed to become truly converted. This is when I looked towards the Book of Mormon for guidance and direction. As I read the book I felt peace and comfort in knowing that Jesus Christ knew the trials and challenges I was going through. I then took my questions to God though prayer and recieved a peaceful assurance to continue in the Church. Then after yars of continued study and prayer my testimony of the church became solidified.
Personal Stories
How has the Book of Mormon brought you closer to God?
I absolutely love reading and studying from the Book of Mormon. I am currently highlighting every time that the Savior speaks, or has a prophet speak, His words. It has really shown me that it is His book that teaches His gospel. It has shown me on a very personal level that He loves every one of His children on a personal level.
How I live my faith
As a Mormon missionary I taught people more about the Mormon faith and helped them understand how it could help their family find more happiness in this life. I love serving in the church because I have seen the Gospel of Jesus Christ change people's lives for the better.
