About Me

I am a student at a local university and I love it! Digital media is my whole life. Something about getting to see what my mind had just thought up one day displayed before my eyes. It's absolutely fascinating to me. Other than that I find myself enjoying just three things, books, my bike, and faith.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed, truly blessed to have parents that led me, guided me, and allowed me to discover God on a personal level. I will never forget the first time I felt the Holy Spirit confirm to me that this was the true church of Jesus Christ, that I have a Heavenly Father that loves me and has a purpose for me being here. That is why I'm a Mormon, God has instructed me so, and I will follow Him always. His happiness is my happiness.

Please share your feelings/testimony of Joseph Smith.

I have a tender spot in my heart for Joseph Smith. I had an opportunity to study his life quite extensively. What I have come to the conclusion is is that he has been called of God, and therefore I respect his teachings. If God trusted him, I will do my best to do the same. And I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God because of the evidence of The Book of Mormon. I know that if one were to read this book and pray sincerely, they would know for themselves that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and that this is Jesus Christ's church restored to the earth.

How I live my faith

I strive daily to read the scriptures. There is a peace that comes into my life as I give my whole heart to knowing the nature of God. That He is my Heavenly Father, that no matter the circumstance, He is there to listen, to lead, and guide me in my life through the power of the Holy Ghost. It is through the scriptures and the influence of the church members that I have learned that. God is always there to help me understand why I am here on this earth.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

We learn that the Holy Ghost (also known as the Holy Spirit) is the third member of the Godhead which means that he is perfectly united in harmony, purpose with God the Father and Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Ghost is the convincing witness that the gospel is true. It gives one a testimony of Jesus Christ and of his work. The Holy Ghost also sanctifies, or cleanses us from sin after we are baptized by the proper authority.
We learn in Galatians 5:22-23 that the Spirit (Holy Ghost) can feel like the following "love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance." I have a strong belief in the Holy Ghost that it can teach us so much, about ourselves and about God. I know that who ever seeks God in their lives can have a chance to feel is calming and loving feeling.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Absolutely! Heavenly Father loves us, His children. He loves us so much that He listens to our prayers. He also loves us so much that He has given prophets throughout history to lead us, teach us, and guide us.
