Christopher : Mormon.

Hi, I'm Christopher

I grew up in Idaho farming potatoes. I am a husband and father, grad student, and business owner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a new father to a one year old son and have a beautiful wife. We have lived all over the United States and have been blessed to travel with my occupation. I own two businesses. I have been fortunate to do what I love professionally. I love exercise and nutrition and am a wellness advocate. I love reading and photography, enjoy running, lifting weights, and playing musical instruments. I attended BYU-Idaho and graduated in Communications. I am now working on an MBA to further my education.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up on a potato farm and learned of the beauty of the earth as a young child. While growing up, I learned about my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and their plan of happiness for me. My faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ continues to grow and strengthen me as an individual. The gospel is my rock and foundation that I strive to build my life upon in a changing world of uncertainty.
Through study of The Book of Mormon and prayer, the Holy Ghost has taught me that this is Christ's true church upon the earth. I am happy and feel peace when I attend church. My family can be together forever through the blessings of the temple. This is why I'm a Mormon!

Personal Stories

Why do Mormons go on missions?

As members of the Mormon church, we feel a great desire to share our testimonies of knowledge and understanding of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.
I, personally chose to serve a mission because of my love for The Book of Mormon and Holy Bible. I wanted to share my testimony of these books of scripture with others who may not have gained an understanding of Christ's teachings. I have been blessed greatly by reading and studying God's word to help me through trials and overcome challenges in my life. I know that proclaiming the gospel or good news to my brothers and sisters is a privilege and duty.
I was a full-time missionary for two years in Sacramento, California and served amongst our Hmong brothers and sisters. I know that my time spent there will never be forgotten. Not only did I learn and grow, but most importantly I was able to be a messenger and help others find Christ's restored church and gospel. Currently, a young man I baptized is now leaving to serve a mission for two years in Minnesota. This makes my heart rejoice! I love my Heavenly Father and know that His work is very important for the salvation of all mankind.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by being a good example to those around me. I have served a full-time mission for 2 years to Sacramento, California where I learned the Hmong language and culture...Best 2 years of growth and experience I've had! I have been a Scout Advancement leader and teacher for young men in my ward. I am a home teacher and ward mission leader currently and love visiting my neighbors and sharing my testimony of Jesus Christ and His restored gospel.
