I'm an Australian. I'm a family man and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wonderful wife, two lovely daughters, and one more on the way. I have completed my studies at TAFE in the IT field. I'm currently working for a large company in the mining industry.

I enjoy being with my family and spending time with them. I also enjoy growing my own fruit and veg. in the backyard and playing boardgames.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this Church is the only Church that Jesus Christ himself has set-up and continues to lead. That knowledge gives me the strength to continue following his commandments, even though that can be hard at times. All of the doctines in the Church make sense to me and are free for all to learn and study.

Why/How do you share the gospel with your friends?

I share the gospel with my friends when they ask me questions about my life. They often notice a difference in my life compared to theres. From these questions I'm able to share why I'm different from people around me.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

I went on my mission to the Philippines to help people see that God loves them no matter what they may have done in their life so far, and help them understand that this life has a purpose, and it's more then just "enjoying" life. We can find real and lasting joy though the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I have found it, and wouldn't you want to share something that brings real joy to you with others?

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith through all my actions. I spend a lot of my time with others in the local area sharing and teaching how to enjoy life more; though living the teachings of the church (the true gospel of Jesus Christ).

I try to be the best example I can be to my own family and others in living a joyful and fulfilling life.

Living my faith is one of the most important things in my life.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Yes to both questions. This is one of the greatest blessings of the Church. I look forward to being with my family in the life to come, not just until "Death, do you part".

When married by earthly power and the authority of man, our vows are "Until death do you part."

We believe that families can be together forever as part of our Heavenly Father's Great Plan of Happiness. His Work and His Glory is to bring to pass the exaltation and eternal life of man. He wants us to be even as He is and to return home to live with Him again.

Through the ordinances of his Holy Temples, God's son's and daughter's are able to make covenants. Through the power of His Holy Priesthood, be sealed together for all of time and eternity as Husband and Wife, parents and children.

Families were designed and instituted by God with the intent that they be forever. The love we feel in this life does not need to be cut off when we die. Those who have already died are not lost us forever. God has mercifully made a way by which all who would accept these saving ordinances can do so, living or dead.

We perform these ordinances for those who have in the past died so that they may have the opportunity of accepting them on the other side if they so choose to do so.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Yes! (You might want to sit down for this great news!) I love reading the stories of prophets in the Old Testament. The prophets spoke to the people of that time about the things they most needed to hear. I'm so grateful that just like in biblical times, we have a prophet for us now!

Our prophet truly is a man called by God to help us. I know this is true every time I read his insights and guidance for us in these times. With a living prophet to guide us, we know what to focus on in our personal and family life.
