Gail: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Gail

I grew up in Alaska. I'm an attorney and a stay at home mom of 6 kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Alaska, but moved to Utah to go to college. I studied journalism, and then law. My husband and I have 6 incredible kids. I love reading, quilting, and history. I love photography, travel and spending time with my family. My dream job would be travelling with my husband and kids all over the world soaking up history and culture.

Why I am a Mormon

I read a lot. I come from a family that do not share my beliefs. But when I was in high school, I had many friends who were Mormon. I began reading the Book of Mormon and expected that my intellectual outlet would cause me to dismiss it, but as I read and prayed about it, I knew that it was true. I couldn't, then, deny it. Each day as I live the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, my testimony of its truthfulness grows.

Personal Stories

In what ways have your prayers been answered?

To ask when and how have my prayers have been answered is an interesting question. A better question would be, I think, when have they not? Every day I am aware of another way that my Father in Heaven has answered a prayer of mine. I am the recipient of many tender mercies.

How I live my faith

I have so many opportunities to serve in my church. I have spent many hours with the Young Women of our church and also with the young children. Right now, however, I work with the incredible women in my neighborhood, trying to make sure that their temporal and spiritual needs are met and creating opportunities for them to socialize and serve each other.
