Hi, I'm T. Barton
I'm a Mormon Missionary serving in Australia
About Me
I'm a kid who has grown up knowing about the Gospel and living it my entire life. I play 2nd violin in my local Orchestra, and worked in a nearby movie theater as an employee and manager for 2 1/2 years. I'm currently serving a mission for my church in Australia
Why I am a Mormon
I was brought up as mormon, and baptised when I was 8 years old by my father. I eventually had to grow up, and when I was a teenager, took a serious study of the Book of Mormon, and took Moroni's Challenge in Moroni 10:3-5 to ask God if this book was true. I've received an answer for myself, and invite people to read about this wonderful book.
Personal Stories
Why do Mormons do family history or genealogy work?
I do it so I can be with my Family and my Extended Family after this life is over. Through the work done in the Temples, I know that I will be able to see my Family after this life is done. It's also fun to see what your ancestors did for their jobs, and to learn what they were able to accomplish in life
How I live my faith
I go every Sunday to our local chapel, and participate in the three 1 hour blocks for worship. I used to go around with my father every month and talk to 2-3 families in the neighborhood and make sure everything is well, but now I'm sharing the Gospel message with the people in Australia.
