Natasha: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Natasha

Knowing where I came from, why I am here and where I am going gives me joy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am living the life I aspired to have as a young woman. My husband and I have 5 young children who try our patience, but give us an incredible amount of happiness. I stay home to care for our children and am so happy to have that privilege. Even though there are temper tantrums there are sweet hugs and kisses that make it all worth it! There really is no place like home.

Why I am a Mormon

I know I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father who knows me and is aware of my needs. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer and through His atonement I can be forgiven of my sins that I may return to live with God again. I know that my family can be together forever as we follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. I know that we have a prophet and apostles on the earth today to guide us and teach us the will of God. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ it contains additional truths that can help us to become more like our Savior. I know my happiness is dependent upon my obedience to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is my testimony and why I am a Mormon.

Personal Stories

What have you done successfully to shield your family from unwanted influences?

There are 3 important practices that our church leaders encourage families to participate in that we have been promised will protect our families. Daily scripture study as a family, morning and evening family prayer and a family home evening we hold on Monday nights. As our family is faithful in these daily and weekly routines I know our family is shielded from unwanted influences that abound in the world today. As we end our morning family prayer and I send my children off to school I have peace knowing that they each have a loving Heavenly Father who will blind them, so to speak, to that which is evil and ungodly.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving each day to follow the example of my Savior in all I say and do. I teach my children the stories of Jesus so they will also know how to follow Him. As much as I would like to be perfect, I know that will not happen in this life, but I can seek forgiveness and strive for perfection and Jesus Christ will compensate for my weaknesses. I look forward to each Sunday when I go with my family to church, partake of the Sacrament and glean inspiration and direction from others. I am able to attend a meeting where the women in the church gather and learn together. I always learn new insights and am rejuvenated in spirit and mind. I have two responsibilities in my church. One to visit other women on a monthly basis and share a spiritual message with them as well as give help when they are in need. My second responsibility is to let women in our congregation know of the needs of others that they can help to fill meals, home help, visits, etc..
