Why I am a Mormon

i didnt like where my life was going and felt like i was missing something in my life. i am a convert to the church. i know the church is true and the book of mormon is another testament of jesus christ. i know president monson is a prophet of the church. i also know joseph smith was a prophet of the church in his time.

How has attending Church services helped you?

the services helped me by renewing my faith and being with other people who share the same beliefs as i do

How I live my faith

i try to live my faith by keeping the commandments and live my life the way god wants me to live my life. i surround my life with good people who believe in the samethings i do.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

temples are used for baptisms for the dead. we can also confirm for the dead as well. temples are also used for sealings. you can be sealed to your family forever. i like the idea of being sealed to my husband and children forever

Temples are used to perform sacred ordinances necessary for salvation. One of these is a temple marriage--making it possible to be together as a family for eternity. Since these ordinances are sacred, only members who are striving to live the gospel may enter. All members are strongly encouraged to become and/or stay worthy to enter the temple. Members also go to the temple to seek guidance, comfort, and personal revelation from God.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Our decision to serve missions is motivated by our belief in the Gospel and our desire to fulfill the Savior's command to "preach the gospel to every creature" Mark 16:15. The Gospel teaches us that we are all sons and daughters of God, and so we feel a kinship with all of God's children and a desire to help them enjoy the peace in this life that the Gospel provides.Our missionaries are not salesman and won't take much of your time, but I know that your decision to invite them into your home will change your life for good!
