I married a hunky guy in the middle of my college studies, graduated and became a mother. Becoming a mother has taught me about love, forgiveness and patience -- I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. It's also super hard and to keep a little sanity and identity, I've fallen in love with all things food and cooking. I'm aspiring to be a cookbook author, food photographer, and professional blogger. I also have a thing for maps, the German language, and big dangly earrings.
I grew up in an active LDS home, but I decided for myself that it was the way I would choose to live the rest of my life. My testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is my most precious possession. I know that the Gospel has been restored in its fulness in our time and that there is a living Prophet on the earth who speaks God's will. I know the Book of Mormon is true and powerful scripture. I love my Savior loves me, and no matter how hard things get He will always be there to lift me.
I try to live my faith on a daily basis, not just Sunday. To me, my faith is more than just a set of guidelines to follow, but a special outlook on life. Although I struggle and make mistakes, I try to be a good example because I love my Savior. I love serving within the church, and feel the unity and support that can exist when members are all striving for the same goal.
