Hi, I'm Wil
I'm like millions of people around the world trying to live better and be better. I make mistakes. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am the son of goodly parents, the husband of an angel, and the father of 2 boys that teach me to be a better man.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because personal experience has brought me to the feet of the Savior and I have gained a testimony that Christ lives and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His restored Church lead my a Prophet and directed by the hand of the Lord.
I grew up a member of His church but like all people who come unto Christ, I had to gain my own testimony. That process took years, but in the course of a few months my faith was challenged. I made a clear choice to live the principles taught by this church.
My life has been so much better and I know that I am learning to be like Jesus Christ.
Personal Stories
Please share your feelings/testimony of Joseph Smith.
In studying the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have learned a great deal about the daily life of Joseph Smith. My testimony is that he is a Prophet of God and the lived great and died great because of his personal convictions, faith in God, and desire to live as he believed God wanted him to.
I know that he loved Christ, the people, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ as it was restored through him to this the Last Dispensation. I know that Joseph Smith Jr. is a Prophet of called and that he was called to restore the Church of Jesus Christ to the Latter-days. I know that he lived and died to see the great stone from Daniel's dream begin to roll forth.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
How I live my faith
I work to serve my ward and community with the time and talents that I possess. I live in a way that reflects the Savior and shows that I believe and love Him. While this world is full of activities and obstacles, I try to keep my focus on being Christ-like.
Joseph Smith Jr. once said, "i teach them correct principles and they govern themselves." This statement was made when he was asked how he governs such a large congregation. Christ has always taught correct principles and challenged people to live them. It is my hope and desire to learn to live a principled centered life with the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ at the center.
