Ryan: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Ryan

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

I am a husband, father of five daughters and a graphic designer and small business owner.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother and father were members of this church and I grew up attending. It wasn't until my late teens that I really did some personal searching into the doctrines of the church and developed, within myself, a sincere love of the gospel and a desire and commitment to take part in all the blessings that the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ has to offer. I feel so blessed to be part of this great work that has improved my life and I've seen wonderful things occur in other individuals and families that embrace the gospel.

Personal Stories

How has your knowledge of the Plan of Happiness changed/benefited your life?

The Gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me to catch "the bigger picture" in life. I truly feel like I am here on earth for a purpose, and that my life will continue long after I leave this mortal world. I have a sincere desire to return to live with my Heavenly Father, along with my beautiful wife, and our children. This affects every decision I make in my life. I try to live my life based upon the principles of the gospel. Several years ago - one of our daughters was stillborn. She had a severe heart defect and died of heart failure. This was a difficult and painful experience for us. However, because of our knowledge of the gospel, and the Plan of Happiness, we found comfort in the fact that we will, one day, be reunited as a family after this mortal life.

How I live my faith

Our church is comprised, entirely, of a lay ministry. I am assigned positions of responsibility and leadership and I do my best to fulfill those responsibilities. I love serving in the church. Our congregation is like a big family to me.
