Hi, I'm Christine
I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I love the summer and all things that come with it. I love being on a boat, and have waterskiied since I was 6. I love to play lacrosse, and other sports. I'm married to a real handsome guy who loves being outside and adventuring with me.
Why I am a Mormon
I grew up always knowing and living the gospel. My parents are excellent examples of how living a good life brings happiness. Because our family is close, I always had the loving support of siblings and parents to help me become a better person by working on my weaknesses and following my Savior's example. I've found that through His Gospel, I find what makes me joyful. I find strength in the scriptures and from the words of our modern day prophets. I have faith that I will be with my family forever. Most of all I know that I am loved by a Father in Heaven who watches out for me and help me to succeed.
Personal Stories
Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?
Prayer to me is like a map, or in todays world, a GPS system. I try my best to stay on the route to heaven. Sometimes, I'm not sure which way to turn or what decisions to make.
Prayer has always helped me make decisions wisely, and I encorporate the Lord into my decision making, then I will always make a good decision.
Additionaly, prayer has been a major source of comfort in my life. There are times when I have just needed to feel better, to feel happy, and when I pray-- I feel so much better.
I remember a time when I was feeling desperate and alone. I kneeled down my my bed looking for comfort, for someone to talk to. After I'd spilled my problems and troubles before the Lord. I heard a soft knock on my door, and my dad came in asking if I wanted to talk.
Not only was the Lord answering my prayer, but my dad was sensitive enough to follow a feeling that his daughter needed a friend and a hug.
How I live my faith
I work with the children in our congregation. I've taught different ages, and really enjoy seeing them excited about the gospel.
Because we just moved to a new place in the country, our congregation has become a real support group, a home away from home, and I enjoy activities with fellow members of our church.
