Hi, I'm Sarah Lynn
I am a wife and a mother. I born in raised in Idaho. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
My husband and I have been married for almost three years, last year we had our son join our family and he is our pride and joy. I love taking pictures of my family and nature. I enjoy playing sports (especially Volleyball and Basketball). I love the thrill of trying out new recipes and creating recipes of my own. I graduated two years ago with my Bachelors in Political Science.
Why I am a Mormon
My membership to the Church of Jesus Christ gives me the strength and encouragement to wake up everyday and try to do my best. I have been a member my whole life, but it wasn't until I was in high school that I realized how important the blessings of the gospel were to me. I lost friends and family members to death and the knowledge that if I lived a righteous life and endured to the end gave me the strength and encouragement to make it through my feelings of hurt and loss.
Now, I am a mother and a wife and the most important people to me are my husband and son. I would never want to be separated from them. The covenants which I have made in the temple, give me the promise than I will get to stay with my family for the eternities.
I feel so blessed to know that I have a Savior that atoned for my sins and sorrows. As I have experienced trials I have felt the Savior's love for me and his guiding hand to help guide me to answers.

What has helped develop greater harmony in your home?
One thing that has helped us develop greater harmony in our home has been to study the words of the scriptures. We have noticed that as we study our scriptures our hearts and minds are turned to him. And our hearts are slow to anger.
Another thing that we do is say prayers as a family this gives us a chance to take our will to our Heavenly Father and ask him to bless us as he would see fit.
Why do Mormons do family history or genealogy work?
We believe that those that have come before us have given us the opportunities that we are able to enjoy. With out the work of our ancestors we wouldn't be where we are now. This love and respect we have for our ancestors drives us to do vicarious work for our dead.
How I live my faith
I live my faith by trying to live as Christ would have me do. I try to treat people that I come in contact with the love and respect that a Child of God deserves. I try to help others by taking people in need meals or provide other necessary service. From this I have learned that often times the giver gets a much greater reward then the receiver.
I have several different responsibilities in our church, everything for caring for the children while their parents were in Sunday School to informing people in our congregation of the activities and announcements. But each one of them has served an important purpose of sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
