Pete: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Pete

I'm a fortunate husband and father, and member of the LDS Church.

About Me

I've lived in Texas, New York, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Nevada. I'm a digital public relations professional. I use technology like social media to tell stories for clients.

I have a great wife and two young, fun kids. We also have a weimaraner named Tank and enjoy playing fetch and going on walks with him.

I'm an Eagle Scout and a former singing gondolier at The Venetian in Las Vegas. In college I traveled and toured with a musical theater performing group for three wonderful years. You can see my latest performance on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x96KP1wfbpY

I love the outdoors, woodworking and try my best to stay in shape with things like weight lifting, swimming, jogging, rollerblading, hiking and the like.

Why I am a Mormon

I learned in grade school that we have apostles today just like when Jesus walked the earth. I developed faith in their words and grew to understand and love Jesus Christ for all He has done and made possible for me. I believe that by living a life similar to what Jesus taught, I can achieve my greatest potential in every one of my responsibilities.

Personal Stories

How does making right choices help us make more right choices?

Just like exercising strengthens muscle and allows us to achieve greater fitness, making good choices strengthens our ability to make better choices in the future.

Like the string that both anchors and allows a kite to fly and stay airborne, the teachings of Jesus Christ form the foundation of my life and allow me to achieve my dreams.

How I live my faith

I strive to be honest, a person of integrity. I believe in kindness, humility and virtue.

I work at bringing a peaceful, joyful feeling into my home and family member's lives.

I show love for my wife and children and those around us - family, friends and acquaintances.

I work with the young men in our congregation, ages 14-15. They deal with so many things I didn't have to deal with when I was their age. I hope through love and example to show them the importance of respect and tolerance, and most importantly to develop faith in Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of faith.
