I am a wife and mother of four children. I work hard and play just as hard. I work as an accountant. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to spend time with my family. We are currently learning how to garden together. We love going on adventures and finding new "cool" spots to visit. I have a wonderful lovely husband and four beautiful children. My oldest daughter is 9, twins are 7 boy & girl, and my youngest is 2. I work part-time as a tax accountant and I love it!

I grew up in a family of six children. We always had fun together and still do! My parents taught us to work hard and to live righteously.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have always been Mormon as have I. I continue to follow the gospel because of the truthfulness and happiness it brings into my life. I do not know where my life would be without the gospel knowledge that I have to help me through all of life's ups and downs. There is comfort in knowing that our Savior lives and love us and is always there when we need him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by not only going to church each Sunday but by living the gospel each and every day. I have been involved in several areas of the Church. Most recently I was involved with the youth. Helping them and watching them grow was very rewarding. This type of work also has its challenges. There is nothing like watching the youth make good choices and see where their futures are headed.

It has never been hard to live the gospel principles. If anything, it has made hard choices easier for me. I know what direction the Lord wants me to go in life, and I strive each and everyday to live worthy to return back to him.

I try to live as the our Savior Jesus Christ wants me to. This is as simple as living the golden rule, "Do unto others as you would have done unto you."

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

YES!!! This is one of my favorite parts of the gospel. I believe that my family will live together in heaven. I will know my family as my family members. My husband is my husband for now and for all eternity. My children are my children here on earth and for all eternity. I know that if something happened to one of us that I will see them again. I love this about the church. Before joining, I always had a question about this concept and when taking the discussions from the missionaries this came up. Makes me love the church more and more.

When married by earthly power and the authority of man, our vows are "Until death do you part."

We believe that families can be together forever as part of our Heavenly Father's Great Plan of Happiness. His Work and His Glory is to bring to pass the exaltation and eternal life of man. He wants us to be even as He is and to return home to live with Him again.

Through the ordinances of his Holy Temples, God's son's and daughter's are able to make covenants. Through the power of His Holy Priesthood, be sealed together for all of time and eternity as Husband and Wife, parents and children.

Families were designed and instituted by God with the intent that they be forever. The love we feel in this life does not need to be cut off when we die. Those who have already died are not lost us forever. God has mercifully made a way by which all who would accept these saving ordinances can do so, living or dead.

We perform these ordinances for those who have in the past died so that they may have the opportunity of accepting them on the other side if they so choose to do so.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

Proxy baptisms are Heavenly Father's solution to the conflict between the need to be baptized in order to obtain eternal life, and the fact that not everyone gets the opportunity to be baptized in this life. We preform baptisms on the behalf of our ancestors, and then our deceased ancestors, in the spirit world, are given the opportunity to choose whether or not they want this baptism to be valid for them.
