Hi, I'm Trevor.
I live in Utah and I design web applications. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am a designer and web developer living in Utah state. I started out doing computer tech support but I started a new career as a web designer and now I design and implement user experiences on mobile phones.
Why I am a Mormon
God has guided me in my life from day one. I know I'm not perfect but he has blessed me and surrounded me with people who love God and serve Him with all their hearts. Everything I have, from my talents, to my beautiful baby daughter all came from God. He created this beautiful Earth for me to enjoy and he has blessed me with creativity and imagination that bless me in my work every day. My faith means everything to me.
Personal Stories
Why do Mormons go on missions?
A mission is a time for a young man or woman to develop their own faith in God, but also to share the good news they have felt from the Gospel with others. I went to Louisiana for my mission and spent two years sharing the true Gospel of Jesus Christ with many people who already had a belief in Him. What I taught them and shared with them was the good feelings that come from living the Gospel and keeping the commandments. I helped them move past a simple commitment and learn how to live the Gospel each day of their life. Missionaries can change people's lives by sharing the Gospel with others.
How has the Book of Mormon brought you closer to God?
The scriptures are full of rich stories that teach life lessons and show the power and love of God for His children here on Earth. The Book of Mormon is full of examples of how to navigate this complicated world and build faith in God. He can help us and heal us, even in this world of confusion and unrest. Political and social challenges have occurred all throughout time and the Book of Mormon has helped me find ways to deal with those challenges and strengthen my family against the evil out in the world.
How I live my faith
I've been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all my life, but I had my own moments where I became converted to the Gospel and made my own decision what I would believe about God and my relationship with him. My ancestors were not all members of the church and I am doing my best to build on the legacy my parents and grand-parents have built for me.
