Hi, I'm Christopher
I love playing & watching sports! I work full time as a Sales Manager & have a wife & a baby girl & by the way I'm a Mormon!
About Me
I am the oldest of 4 children. I have always loved sports and being outside doing things such as camping and body boarding. I work full time as a sales manager for the world's largest payroll company. I have a wonderful wife and a beautiful baby girl! We live in Southern California and I love my life!
Why I am a Mormon
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for many reasons. The most fundamental of those reasons is because I want to follow Jesus Christ and I believe that being a faithful member in His church is one way I show that commitment. I am a member also because I want to be with my family forever. Throughout my life there have been different reasons why I have been grateful to be a member but in the end it all comes down to faith. I strongly believe that this is Christ's true church and that I can return to live with God and His son by following the principles taught within His church.
Personal Stories
What are you doing to help strengthen your family and make it successful?
My wife and I love having family home evening with my mom, brother, and sister. Family home evening is something we as members of this church do once a week. Its a great time for all of us to teach each other and really strengthen our testimonies. We all have our struggles but this family night has been an amazing blessing in my life. I have seen the power it has had on my family.
Why do Mormons go on missions?
We go because we are commanded to go but we also go for many other reasons. I went on a mission because I knew that my Heavenly Father expected it of me and also because i had seen and heard of the great experiences others who had gone before me had had. A mission is an opportunity to learn, grow, and most importantly share this life's greatest message! I am so grateful that I was able to serve a mission, I loved the people that I was able to meet during my 2 years and I learned so much. Many look at it as a big sacrifice but if you have experienced it you know that the blessings and joy that comes from the experience outweighs the sacrifice.
How I live my faith
I made decisions when I was younger not to do certain things that were "normal". I chose not to drink alcohol, smoke, or have sex before getting married. I made these decisions and stuck with them. I am now married and sealed in the Temple for eternity with my wife and I could not be more grateful that both her and I took our commitments seriously. On a daily basis I try to be honest. I figure that if I am honest and sincere then people will respect me and if they respect me I can have a greater impact for good while here on earth.
