About Me

Life is sweet! As the parents of four little girls, my wife and I find great joy in knowing the family is eternal. It puts daily demands in perspective and helps us focus on raising God's children and strengthening our marriage to last forever.

Why I am a Mormon

We're Mormon because we know God lives, that he chooses prophets in our days, and that through Joseph Smith, the true Church of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth. Through the God-given authority of the priesthood we can obtain all that we need on this earth to return and live with Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and our families, forever.

How does making right choices help us make more right choices?

The more we become like Jesus Christ, the more we feel the joy of a righteous life. Christ, as the only perfect person to have ever lived a perfect life is the One I strive to emulate. The closer I come to Him the more I want to become even more like Him, by choosing the right.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

The gospel of Jesus Christ is something that I want everyone to enjoy. The promises of this gospel are not exclusive, they apply to everyone. Once we recognize that we're here on earth to develop faith and experience a mortal existence then life makes sense. It is important that everyone have the opportunity to understand the truth of our existence and through missionary work come to understand the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is why I served a mission.

How I live my faith

We strive to love our God, first and foremost. Loving our fellow man becomes more of a natural extension when we recognize the hand of our Creator in all things.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, was slain for the sins of the world. I cannot obtain perfection on my own. I am prone to sin, weakness, and error, but through faith, repentance, baptism, and the gift of the Holy Ghost I can obtain forgiveness of my sins and be perfect in Christ.
