My name is David and I am a husband. I am interested in world wide events. I am interested in nature and the outdoors. I love looking at sunsets while at a beach or on the deep sea. I love looking up at night towards the stars while on the deep sea, in a forest, on a mountain, or near a river. I enjoy eating all kinds of different meals, whether it's American or not. I like learning and communicating in other languages other than my native language, English. I am a college graduate with a Bachelor's degree. I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my whole life.
I come from a long line of Mormons. My ancestors were early pioneers in the church. All my family are Mormons. I was raised in the church. I was born under the covenant. Before I was eight I had already read the Book of Mormon and had a testimony of it. When I was eight I was baptized into the church. I have continued to be Mormon because of the great feelings I have had while being Mormon. Nothing is quite like it.
It has given me an 'eternal perspective.' I am grateful and happier knowing that I was in the presence of Jesus and my Heavenly Father prior to my Earthly existence. I try to live good so I may see them again.
The Savior's teaching of love, humility, peacemaking, and endurance have all had a profound impact on my life.
I believe by going to church weekly, the temple monthly, and by living the gospel, my family has been shielded from unwanted influences.
The missions of the Church are to build the Kingdom of God on Earth, perfect the Saints, and to redeem the dead. I have tried to be a missionary by doing splits, blogging, and sharing my testimony. I try to live worthily of a temple recommend and I do temple work as often as I can.
I participate in my branch by being the Sunday School President and by home teaching. I go on splits with the missionaries in my branch. I give talks when asked. I substitute teach classes at church when a teacher needs me to. I give my time and effort at the Bishop Storehouse which helps out with Church's welfare system. I also go with my wife to the temple.
