Hi, I'm Jason
I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I was raised in Southern California. I served my mission in Spain, over Andalucia and the Canary Islands. I am currently a college student.
Why I am a Mormon
I am part of the Church because it gives me a reason to always have a smile on my face. I am not rich and I do have problems of my own, but things just seem to always work out, and days when they don't I at least know that I have a Father in Heaven that loves me, and wants the best for me, so it will work out eventually.
Personal Stories
Think about your everyday activities. What are things you act upon each day where you cannot see the end results? How does faith move you to action?
I read my scriptures every night before I go to sleep, and say my prayers. I haven't always done this. I recently decided that after having been told to do it for most my life to actually try it and see if it helps. Since starting this I have a calender that a mark every day to help remind me and see the progress I have made. The calender helps. There have not been major changes in my life, I just have more strength to resist temptations, and things just seem to be working out better in my life. It is something simple and may not be super noticeable, but things like reading in Spanish helps me to remember the language I spent so much time learning as a missionary.
How I live my faith
I just try to be a good man. I read scriptures, pay tithing, and have fun in my calling in the activities committee making sure we all get to have fun in my ward.
