About Me

Hi! I lived on an American Commonwealth Known as Saipan I taught High School Art there. I graduated with a BS in ART and grew up in California. Now I am teaching the people of Georgia the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Its the best learning experiance . Everything that came before prepared me for where I am. Where I am is preparing me for the future.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but as I have grown up I have learned why I have chosen to remain in the church. In the past I have done things that distanced me from the church and when I did those things my life was hard. The church simplifies things. All I have to do is follow Jesus Christ and I will be happy. I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ because following the principles I have learned to be true brought me to happiness.

How does making right choices help us make more right choices?

Concerning this there are three things that I know to be true. 1. We have the right to choose. 2. We can not choice the consequence of that choice. and 3. With good choices come good consequences or Blessings, with bad choices come bad consequences, or punishments.

I know that when I choose the right I will be blessed. Who doesn't want more blessings?

Could you talk about your baptism?

Honestly I do not remember much, it was 16 years ago. I do remember being excited because my grandmother told me I was choosing the right and following what my savior did.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

I belong to "The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints". When Jesus was on the earth he taught people to follow Him. He hoped that EVERYONE would follow Him. Just because we do not live at that time does not mean that Jesus would not have us follow him. He still has that same hope.
Members of the church serve missions so that we can act as Jesus would if he was living on earth. So that we can invite people, as Jesus did, to follow Him. I know that as people follow the invitations of the missionaries that they are following Christ and that they will find Everlasting joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving each day to do what Jesus would have me do. Each day I strive to be an example of Jesus Christ by loving all people as he did. By serving people, by following the Commandments of God as he did, by striving in every way to be like Him. I am not perfect but am blessed to know that repentence, daily allows me to use the atonement in my life and be like He is.
I am blessed to be a missionary. Every day I teach Gods Children that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's church and God's Kingdom on the earth again. Because of that there are Prophets who recive revlation from God, There is Another Testement of Jesus Christ-The Book of Mormon, There are temples that provide a way for families to live together forever, there is the Priesthood power, and there are many other things that excisted in Christ Church. I wake up every day to study and teach these things to the people of Geogia-Right now teaching and learning more about this is how I live my faith and I LOVE IT!

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

The word of wisdom is a health code. Before the dangers of things such as tobacco and alcohol were known the Lord told his prophet, through revelation that these things are not for our bodies. You can find the word of wisdom in the Doctrine Covenants (a scripture of modern day revelation) section 89.

The word of wisdom is the Lord's law of health. We abstain from drugs, tobacco, alcohol, coffee, and tea, and are encouraged to eat wholesome food and grains, and not eat excessive meat. I am asked all of the time by my fellow residents at the hospital why I don't drink coffee, and how I can stay awake all night on call without it. I don't consider it a sacrifice, though, and am as awake and perform as well as any. It is true that the body will be more healthy when following the word of wisdom, the but the main benefit is spiritual. The knowledge that you are in line with the the Lord's teaching is the most important thing.

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

I grew up thinking, at one point, Mormonism was cult. I made this assertion based on nothing but hearsay, and didn't actually know any tenets of the LDS faith. Now, as a person who has thoroughly investigated the sincerity and divine truthfulness of this Church, I can resoundingly say that the Church of Jesus Christ is by no means a cult. I find that the major reason why people think Mormonism is a cult is simply due to a lack of understanding of the Church. For instance, not many people really know that Mormons believe in and strive to be closer to Jesus Christ we believe Him to be our personal savior and redeemer of the world. We read the Bible and know it to be the word of God. We take communion. We have an unpaid clergy. We live to serve others as Christ would have done.

When people take the time to understand what Mormonism is really all about, like I did, they will understand that Mormons are normal people with normal problems, and each of us relies on God to be a better, more Christlike person.
