How I live my faith

I begin and end each day with prayer to my Heavenly Father including multiple prayers throughout the day. I read the scriptures daily for a half hour to learn more about Heavenly Father and his will for me. My faith has helped me realize my greatest responsibility is the teaching and raising my children in truth and righteousness. To accomplish this great task we have family prayer and scripture study everyday. We also reserve Monday nights as time to spend together as a family. I am an imperfect dad but I strive to love my children and to spend some individual focused time with them every week. As a family we strive to get to know our neighbors and to love them as ourselves. At church I oversee the youth program ages 18 months to 13 years old. I help choose their teachers and leaders and try to make sure they are having a positive experience and opportunity to gain a testimony of their Savior, Jesus Christ. I also visit four families a month and share with them a spiritual message and encourage them to strenghten their testimonies.
