I am a husband, father and believer in Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family growing up always went to church. I left my home when I was 15 and stopped going to church.

One failed marriage behind me without the gospel and in the midst of a successful marriage with the gospel I can honestly say that the gospel of Jesus Christ has made my second marriage a happy one.

Why I am a Mormon

I have lived my life without the Mormon church in my life and I found that I felt like I was wandering without specific purpose. With the Mormon church as a guide for my life I have a purpose. I rely on Christ's teachings to help me raise my family. So in short, I am a Mormon for all the benefits that belonging to the Mormon church gives me.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

The gospel of Jesus Christ preaches service to others, by teaching others about the ministry of Jesus Christ, we are serving others in the best way we know how.

Gal. 5:13 "For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. "

How I live my faith

Living my life by trying to align my actions with the principals that Jesus taught is one way I live my faith. I strive to do this, I improve as I learn more. I have so much to learn and so much to improve!
I live my faith by applying the principals of the gospel to my life.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

The same way that you come to know anyone better, talk with him. Our Heavenly father blessed us with prayer, which is the means by which we converse with him. Think of every prayer as a phone call, not writing a letter; expect God to answer your prayers and listen for his response. Prayer is a two way conversation and the best way to come to know our Father in Heaven and what he wants for us.

In the truest sense of the word, most certainly yes!
The main belief of the mormon church is that of Christ and His Atonement for mankind. We believe that anybody who wants to can be saved through Christ's Sacrifice for us.
Without Christ, our church would be meaningless, void, and pointless. He is the core of this church. In fact, He is the leader and head of this church.
Some people say we don't believe in Christ, but I wholeheartedly disagree; Christ is everything to us - He rescues us from sin and fear, He is the reason for our being.
We celebrate and rejoice in His life and works and know that He lives today! Christ is risen and is ready to help us in our lives.
