I have a cute little family, My Husband and I were Married in the Salt Lake Temple in 2001, we have 4 wonderful children. One thing we enjoy doing as a family is going for a bike ride. :

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, but I have also gained my own testimony that this church is true. I know that with out my Savior I cannot return to Heavenly Father.

Personal Stories

What has helped develop greater harmony in your home?

There are so many things that have helped to have harmony in our home. One of the Most Important things that helps us, is for My Husband and I to have a Prayer with each other every night. It has held us together, and helped to be mindful of each other as well as our children.

How I live my faith

With my family we read our scriptures together, hold a family night every week, when we do family prayers at night we go around in a circle and say what we are thankful for then each our children get a turn to say the prayer. In our ward I am currently whats called the Mia Maid Advisor, I teach the young women ages 14 to 15 years old. One day of the week we hold a Mutual night where the girls ages 12 to 17 can come, learn and become friends, and have fun.

What is the First Vision?

The First Vision is about Joseph Smith, He wanted to know what church to join so he went into a grove to pray to God. when he was praying God the Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith and they said to Join None for None of them had the whole truth of the gospel.

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

First, I wholeheartedly believe in the "Official Church Answer" to this question. Homosexual behavior is, as the scriptures clearly state, against God's law, just as fornication and adultery are against God's law. There are no exceptions, but there is always repentance.

God loves all of his children. Christ died to redeem all of God's children. To these statements there are also no exceptions. I am firmly conviced that whether a person experiences same gender attraction or not, he or she is still a child of God. God's love for us is constant, but that does not mean that He will always approve of our choices or our behavior.

Through the atonement of Christ, all of our hurts and pains, all of our sorrows and anguish, will be taken away. All of our sins will be forgiven on condition of repentance. All these are His. He paid the price for them, and we have no right to hold on to them.
