Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an active mormon home. When I was 8 years old I made the decision to be baptized and it was a special experience. I'm grateful for the Book of Mormon and I know that it is true. I have to come to know of it being true by reading it and praying to know if it is true. The Holy Ghost has confirmed with warm feelings in my heart that it is true. Joseph Smith was a prophet and he translated the ancient records with the help of the Lord. President Thomas S. Monson is the Lord's prophet on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I visit families in the neighborhood to make sure they know they have a friend in our church organization (we call it a ward). And if they have any needs, they can give me a call and I'm more than willing to help them.

    This is more than just instinct. We are indeed eternal beings whose origin is before the creation of the earth. And one of the things we come to earth to do is to find a companion, not only for this mortal existence, but for eternity as well. God has provided the place, the Temple of the Lord, and the authority, the power to seal things on earth and in heaven. So that eternal relationships can be established here and enjoyed after this life is done. Do I believe it? I feel certain that these principles are true. The Holy Ghost confirms that to my spirit.
