About Me

I was born in Zacatecas Mexico. Son of catholic parents who gave me good principles.
I knew the church 2 years ago, and I'm grateful to the Lord for everything He had showed me.
I'm a nuclear engineer and now I'm working as an English teacher in the State's University.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

Going on a mission is one of the biggest blessings we can have in this life. Sharing with everyone this joy is just a beautiful experience.

How I live my faith

Since I started going to the church, I've tried to preach and show my faith, mainly through my facts. The calling I have now is as a mission leader. I like and enjoy doing activities with the members and help them to remember why we're here.
I've received many blessings with this, and I'm really looking forward to continue with my preparation.

Are Mormons Christians?

In the truest sense of the word, most certainly yes!
The main belief of the mormon church is that of Christ and His Atonement for mankind. We believe that anybody who wants to can be saved through Christ's Sacrifice for us.
Without Christ, our church would be meaningless, void, and pointless. He is the core of this church. In fact, He is the leader and head of this church.
Some people say we don't believe in Christ, but I wholeheartedly disagree; Christ is everything to us - He rescues us from sin and fear, He is the reason for our being.
We celebrate and rejoice in His life and works and know that He lives today! Christ is risen and is ready to help us in our lives.

What is the difference between attending church and the temple?

We go to church weekly to worship and take the sacrament, which is like communion. Everyone, no matter their faith, is welcome to come to church services and learn more about the Gospel.

The temple is a special place where members make further promises to Heavenly Father that they will keep his commandments. It is also where we are married, or sealed together, and where we can be baptized and sealed for our family members who have died before having those opportunities in life.

To go to the temple you need a card called a temple reccomend from your church leaders that confirms that you are currently doing your best to follow Christ and His Gospel as a member of the Church.
