Why I am a Mormon
I came to know The Church of Jesus Christ is God's true and living church through sincere prayer and continued study and pondering of the Book of Mormon. As I lived the commandments and studied the Book of Mormon along with the Bible, I've witnessed for myself through the power of the Holy Spirit that the Book of Mormon is the Word of God. And because it was, God did in fact call another Prophet in our day to restore Christ's Church with Apostles and Prophets! There are LIVING Apostles and Prophets on the earth today!!! You can know of this yourself.

What has helped develop greater harmony in your home?
I was blessed to be raised in a home with harmony, even with 10 boys! But we had to work at it. Now that I'm a young husband I've had to work at it all over again. I found the key to be sincere prayer together and alone, with honest forgiveness. Of coarse without the LDS church teaching us the true Gospel of Christ, we'd never have it.
Can you talk about the missions of the Church and your participation in them?
I served a mission in China, Hong Kong. I had not idea where I would live for two years. I found out by mail. Today's living Apostles and Prophets selected where I went. Learning Chinese wasn't easy. Living on the other side of the world was quite the experience. But that's not why I wen't. I served a volunteer mission, paying monthly to be supported, to serve God. I would have gone anywhere. It was a privilege to share the important message to the world that God does in fact live. I wanted to tell everyone I could that Jesus Christ called more Apostles and Prophets in our day to guide us and lead us to know God's will, to bring back His true Church back on the earth once again. It's so amazing the happiness the true Gospel brings. We shared this message with the people of Hong Kong, and many came to know these truths.
How has the Holy Ghost helped you?
The Holy Ghost helps me make the right choices in my life. I have thoughts, ideas, or impressions that come to my mind, and I know they're from the Holy Ghost. It's inspiration that you know is from God. I believe God still guides us in our lives. Heavenly Father loves us and sends the Holy Ghost in our lives to help us. My personal experiences are not profound, but are the result of consistent prayer, church attendance, and scripture study. I am attending a university and little things like scheduling the upcoming semesters classes isn't easy. But I try to be sensitive to feelings and impressions about classes to take, or professors to select. I know it's small and not a big deal, but Heavenly Father cares about every detail of our lives, even the small stuff. We have to learn and grow, so it's usually up to us to make the decision, but the Holy Ghost helps me know I'm doing what I should, what is best or me at this time.
In what ways have your prayers been answered?
My prayers are answered mainly through thoughts or impressions I have throughout the day. I've learned to not pray for a certain outcome as much as an attitude to accept whatever outcome there is, knowing that I've done all I could and would leave the rest to God.
How can we develop greater harmony in our homes?
I have been blessed to be raised in a happy family. We didn't always have the things that other families did, and sometimes money was tight. But we always had happiness and peace in our home. We had so much fun growing up being taught and knowing the best life is that which walks in Christ's footsteps, to be kind to one another and serve each other.
What blessings have come through your faith in Jesus Christ?
My faith in Christ has blessed me with happiness. Happiness that can only come from God. That I can return to God because of Jesus Christ. I know my purpose in life, to be like Jesus in all that I do and say. These simple blessings have meant the most to me and my family and I hope to continue to have these blessings of happiness and purpose of life.

I help the Bishop of our group with the various tasks he performs in helping everyone come closer to Christ.
