About Me

I live in big city in California. Have an average size family about 6. I just like doing things that are good clean fun. Well I am just average dude great personality and somewhat funny. Well right now I am serving a mission to Vitoria Brazil which super awesome Vitoria means victory in portuguese and its in the state of Espirito Santo which means Holy Ghost. So Im actually i going to the Victory of the Holy Ghost which is pretty tight. Yeah im pretty awesome but right now im serving in Alabama which is cool too. Two missions who could believe that

Why I am a Mormon

its awesome and by having the holy ghost with u at all times its just amazing how it helps guide u to make good decisions. Just understanding where i came from, why im here and where im going its a relief by itself for being a member understanding these things help us want to be progressing each day and not down about anything and knowing that Christ can help us in any situation we have gives me hope. Just understanding also that we have a prophet today who has been called of God and not man is a beautiful thing. Also understanding that God speaks to man today and that the windows of Heaven are not closed but are wide open with blessings we can receive daily gives me joy in this life

The Book of Mormon as brought me closer to God by how it makes the Doctrines and Principles of Jesus Christ easier to understand and what im suppose to do to be saved

How has the Book of Mormon helped you understand the purpose of life?

Its something that has brings peace and joy to me. It gives me a great understanding of why we are here and where we are going and thats why i feel this way

How I live my faith

How i live my faith well right now im serving a mission so pretty much im living it all day for the next two years. I think its awesome cuz on a mission the spirit works so strongly and u feel everyday.

YES. We are, after all, The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints. We know that Christ is our Savior and that it is only through his Atonement that we can return to live with our Heavenly Father after this life. There are many people in the world who believe that Mormons worship Joseph Smith. They believe that he is the founder and the head of our church. I would like to assure you that this isn't true. Jesus Christ is the founder and the head of this church. It is Him who we worship and put our faith in. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Not the Mormons I know! Of course one of our responsibilities as Mormons is to try to help the members of our church any way that we can. But Jesus taught that we must love everyone, and that means helping out people even if they're not members of our faith. Our church has made very large humanitarian donations after natural disasters such as Hurricane Katrina, the Asian tsunami of 2004, and many other catastrophes. A couple years I worked with a large church youth group that did a beautification project at a public park in my hometown. Another time our church group spread gravel and did cleanup at a nearby equestrian trail. Jesus taught often about service, and it is an important part of our religion. Show more Show less
