Chuck: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Chuck

I'm a Mormon. I love life and my Family.

About Me

I'm a husband and father, I cherish both of those titles the most in life. My family is my biggest joy in life. I love time with my family, at home or on the go. We have two daughters, a dog and a cat.

Why I am a Mormon

As a young child I attend church. When I became older I stopped going to church. The year I turned 18 years old I began asking myself questions about life and what I wanted from it. I began to go back to church and became acvtive once again. By this time I had forgot a lot of the things I had learned while I was younger so I began to read the Book of Mormon to find out if it was true and if the church was true. My answer didn't come over night it took time. It took prayer, a faitful prayer and I had to keep reading. The further I went the more I felt it. Then on night as I was reading in the Book of Mormon, the spirit touched me so strongly, I knew from that moment on it was true. I still know that it's all true, I'm greatful for the gospel in my life and my family. Prayers do get answered, the Book of Mormon is true. Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God. Our Heavenly Father loves us and lives as does His Son Jesus Christ our Savior. I share this my testimony with you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Personal Stories

What are you doing to help strengthen your family and make it successful?

We like to do a lot with each other. The more time we can do things the better. We try to turn off the static of life. Two other keys are family prayer and reading the scriptures together each day. We also take time each monday night for Family Home Evening. At this time we take and turn off the tv, radio and any other things that will take us away. We then teach each other and do things with each other during this time. Another key and very imprtant in our life is dinner time, we gather around the table and eat and talk. Families are great.

What has helped develop greater harmony in your home?

Harmony is felt in our home as we do the following things- pray together, read scriptures together, hold family home evening, attend the temple as a couple, and serve faithfully in are calling in the church. As we have done this our home has been blessed with the spirit which in turns brings harmony. By being together as a family and living the gospel as a family we are blessed. I feel those are the two keys- together + living=harmony and spirit

How I live my faith

I try to live each day to the fullest. I have learned that following the Savior bring the most calm and peace to ones life. To do this I read from the scriptures daily and prayer. I also attend church meetings and go to the temple. I involve my family in all of this. You have to live it and not worry about, what other may say or think. Your faith is yours and no one can take it away, but you must take care of it and let it grow as a Prophet from the Book of Mormon taught in the Book of Alma. I also hold a calling in church that helps me be involved, I love being around other members of the church. Agian prayer and reading the Book of Mormon is the key in my life to living my faith.
