Hi, I'm Mark
I love my girls. My wife is beautiful, and I am one lucky Mormon.
About Me
I am married, and have 4 beautiful daughters, ages 2 to 8. I work for a a local company in their Information Technology department . I spend any extra time with my family, doing things like boating, playing games, going on walks, working in the yard or other projects, and just being together. My family, my faith, and my relationship with God is the focus of my life and what brings me the most joy.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because of the knowledge and happiness it brings to my life. As I rely the teachines of Jesus Christ, and keep God's commandments, I have received great joy and fullfilment. I belive that our Heavenly Father truly knows us each uniquely, and cares about are well being. I know we lived with Heavenly father before coming to earth, and that he wants us to return to live with him. Through the Book of Mormon, the Bible and other latter day revelations, and personal answers to my own prayers, I feel guided by God in my life, and inspired daily. I know the Joseph Smith was a prophet called by God to restore great knowledge and happiness to God's children. I feel great strength as I study and ponder the truths taught by prophets. I know Jesus atoned for our sins and died for us that we might be forgiven and be able to return to heavenly father. Because of this great gift and knowledge, I know I must help my heavenly brothers and sisters be happy and return to live with God.
Personal Stories
What is hope and what do you hope for?
Hope is believing in something that you cannot experience through any of our normal senses see, hear, touch, etc., any yet you believe that it is true. I have hope in the fact that if I do my best to keep the commandments, repent daily, and seek to become a better person through my daily actions, and service to others, that one day I will be able to return to live with my beautiful family, and also my father in heaven. I hope for nothing more than to be with my family forever. I know that I can only do this through Jesus Christ, and through receiving gospel ordinances by proper authority, such as baptism, and the gift of the Holy Ghost. I am so grateful for the restored gospel. I know that Joseph Smith truly did see God the father and his son Jesus Christ, and that they used him as a prophet to restore truths and knowledge that had been lost.
How I live my faith
I try to live my life in a way that reflects my beliefs. I belive in being kind to others, being non-judmental, forgiving, and giving others the benefit of the doubt. I also belive that we can have fun and enjoy humor in life while doing all good things. Other than being with my own family, I find the greatest joy while working with and helping others. I have also really enjoyed any church assignments where I work with the youth. We live in a troubling time, but the youth have some much strength and can do so much good in the world.
