I have had the Holy Spirit testify to my heart that the truths of this gospel can help refine the soul when put into practice.

Personal Stories

Could you talk about your baptism?

Not really. I was 8. I don't remember much. But I do remember going down into the water and coming back out. That's about it.

However, I remember a special feeling that day a feeling I don't think I can ever forget. The Holy Ghost testified to my heart on that day that what I was doing was right.

How I live my faith

A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. I try and live my faith everyday through a solid example.

I work diligently at my church responsibilities. I oversee the men's group from ages 18-50, making sure they are physically and spiritually well.

What is the First Vision?

It is when Joseph Smith saw God the Father and his son, Jesus Christ... I told this story so frequently when I served a mission in Argnetina that it is burned into soul.

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

The Church recognizes some circumstances that may justify an abortion, such as when pregnancy is the result of incest or rape, when the life or health of the mother is in serious jeopardy, or when the fetus is known to have severe defects that will not allow the baby to survive beyond birth.

Human life is a sacred gift from God. Elective abortion for personal or social convenience is contrary to the will and the commandments of God.
