Matthew Dunahee: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Matthew Dunahee

I'm a recreational cyclist, a scouter, Graduate Architect, a father of 6 children, a husband, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in the Midwestern United States most of my life. I grew up in a large family, and enjoyed it. I was honored to serve a mission for the church in Tucsan, AZ and it has had a profound influence on my life. I studied architecture in college. I continue to work and live in the midwest. My family and I enjoy camping, biking, hiking, snorkling, art, books, travel, and movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and I felt it was right at a very young age. It always seemed to make sense. The summer after high school however, I had an experience that caused me to question everything. I asked Heavenly Father for an answer. It changed my life forever. I know it is true, and lead by Jesus Christ through inspired leaders here on earth. We can be happier by living the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Personal Stories

How has the Holy Ghost helped you?

The Holy Ghost has helped me make the best choices. It has guided me when I needed help. It reminds me of things I know to be true when I need to use them. It warns me of danger, and comforts me in times of sadness. It gives me hope for great things to come. It testifies to me of the truthfullness of the Savior Jesus Christ. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true because of the feelings from the Holy Ghost

How I live my faith

I love to serve in the church. I have held many different callings or assignments and grow from each of them. Helping and serving others is a blessing that strenghtens me, and is what I think the savior would have me do when ever possible. I try always to use my faith to look at the bright side of any situation and to make the best of life.
