Cameron: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Cameron

I'm a Mormon Missionary

About Me

I'm 20 years old and currently serving a mission in Portugal, Lisbon. I am the youngest of 6 kids. I have 4 sisters and 1 brother. And I have two loving parents. I've lived in Utah all my life. I used to hit the slopes every winter on my snowboard, and every summer on my bike. But now, I'm serving the people of Portugal by sharing the restored gospel. I return home mid 2012 and plan on attending Brigham Young University, going into Composit Engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel is true. That is why I'm a Mormon. It gives me the knowledge and understanding of why I am here on Earth, and what I must do here. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. And that through him I can become clean and return to God, our Heavenly Father. I am constantly comforted to know that I can be with my family forever. Not just here on Earth, but also after I die. I love this church with all my heart, and that's why I'm constantly inviting others to know what I know.

Personal Stories

Why do Mormons go on missions?

I'm currently serving a mission for three reasons. One is for myself. I'm going to grow and become the type of man that I want to be. I'll learn how to work hard, be diligent, and how to rely on the Lord for guidance. The second is for the blessings that I will recieve along with the blessings that my family will recieve. The last is the greatest reason. To give others the same happiness that I have, by giving them the gospel.

How I live my faith

I'm currently living my faith by serving a mission. Where I have the wonderful oppurtunity to go and preach the restored gospel. Some moments it's a struggle, but most the time I find happiness beyond anything I've ever known. The loving people of Portugal are so kind and caring. This is where God's Children are and I feel so blessed for the chance to live, love, and learn with them.
