I'm a Country Girl who loves to sing music from different countries ...and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and rasied in Arizona as the youngest of six kids. I've been performing since I was 4 years old, sometimes 6 nights a week, at my family's business, a western dinner theater. I started recording music when I was 14. I got the amazing chance to record in Nashville singing my favorite, Country Music, when I was 22. I've recorded in both Spanish and English and when I was 23 I also added Portuguese to that list. Having had the opportunity to serve as a missionary in both the United States and Brazil, I have seen many miracles. I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is here to help us improve the quality of our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. I've always been a "Mormon," but just because that is what I knew while I was growing up, doesn't mean that that is why I am here today. The church has high standards and when you're a kid growing up in a world with dropping standards, it's no easy task to toe the line. You don't get far without a testimony of your own. I am a member of this church because I know that it is His Church. I've read the Book of Mormon and I've prayed about it. I've received an answer of my own. I know that just as it says in the Bible that "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God" James 1:5 is true and that EVERYONE can recieve an answer on their own.

Personal Stories

Can you talk about the missions of the Church and your participation in them?

For everyone there is a different story. Why did I serve a mission? Well, ...because it's true. I know that God has blessed me immensely and I can't even begin to repay Him, but I can share His message with others. I want other people to know that God loves them and that through His plan of happiness, our families can be together forever.

How can your talents and gifts bless others?

Our Father in Heaven wants us to have big dreams. He wants to help us reach our righteous desires. Why? Because He loves ALL of his children. He will use our dreams to help and bless others.

How I live my faith

I live... and I follow my dreams. -Because THAT is what my Father in Heaven wants me to do.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

There are missionaries all over the world. You may have seen them before, walking in twos and somethimes threes. They are just like I was. They love to meet new people and tell them what has made the difference in their own lives. If one of them knocks on your door, think of me and be nice. :)

A. You could go to a mormon.org profile from someone in your area that has a facebook link, and locate them that way!
B. You could go to the link on mormon.org that says "request the missionaries"
C. You could go to the link that says " Find a Church" and come visit us. We all would be more than happy to meet you to and explain why this message is so important for all of us.

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

The Church recognizes some circumstances that may justify an abortion, such as when pregnancy is the result of incest or rape, when the life or health of the mother is in serious jeopardy, or when the fetus is known to have severe defects that will not allow the baby to survive beyond birth.

Human life is a sacred gift from God. Elective abortion for personal or social convenience is contrary to the will and the commandments of God.
