Hi, I'm BriAnne
I'm a college student studying English. I'm madly in love with my husband. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I'm the daughter and daughter-in-law of two couples who are very much in love which makes me want to recreate the happiness I have seen in their marriages in my own. I'm married to the greatest guy you will ever meet, seriously. I'm a sister of five, a sister-in-law of three, and an aunt to the cutest nephew in the world. I'm a cousin to about a million people last time I counted and some of them have spouses and children. I am the descendant of some pretty amazing grandparents and great grandparents. My husband and my family are my number one priorities.
As I see it, life is fragile. It can end any moment and you only get to take two things with you into the next world. Your knowledge is one of them. Family is the other. Since the more I learn, the less I realize I know, I'm counting on the latter. Those relationships are the most important things in my life. If you know my family, you know me.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because no matter what trial I go through, no matter what test I am up against, I know that the doctrines I learned in my youth can sustain me. I am a Mormon because every time I doubt my worth in this vast world of so many incredible people, my Heavenly Father is there reminding me that I am the daughter of a Heavenly King and my worth doesn't waver with outer circumstances. I am a Mormon because the principles I have learned help me sustain beautiful and happy relationships that add meaning to my life. I am a Mormon because the gospel is true and I know it deeper than anything else.

How has the Holy Ghost helped you?
Another name for the Holy Ghost is the Comforter. That is what the Holy Ghost does most often for me. When I am in distress or struggling with a trial and I get down on my knees and start pouring my heart out in prayer, I feel a warm feeling wash over me, almost like being swaddled in a blanket or held in someone's arms and I know this is the Holy Ghost. I feel comforted even if the problem remains. With this comfort I can think more clearly and confidently about solutions to my struggles or endure what I cannot change with patience and peace.
The Holy Ghost also helps me to remember truths I have learned right when I need them the most. Once someone told me I was not of worth because of how I looked. I felt the Holy Ghost telling me that was untrue and that my worth does not change with outer circumstances.
How I live my faith
Every week I get to go teach a class of little three year-olds about the gospel. It's "simple" stuff like, I know Heavenly Father and Jesus love me because they created the earth for me. They created the boundless sky above me that goes from bright blue to stormy gray to vivid red and royal purple to glittering velvet all in the course of a day. They created the ethereal greens of Washington State, the endless white of Colorado in the winter, and the fathomless red rocks of Southern Utah. They created a woman so full of love that she carried me into this world and held my hand as we discovered all the things that God made for us. He made them for us because He loves us. I live my faith by remembering how much God loves each of us, even me.
