Charlotte: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Charlotte

I grew up in the United States. I actually enjoy doing the dishes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from college and had the blessing of marrying my husband in the temple in the fall of 2010. I love reading, writing, editing, and spending time with my family! Right now I'm working to help my husband and I prepare financially to have a family—I'm looking forward to being a mom someday!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because living the doctrines of my faith makes me happy. It's not always easy, but it's the most rewarding way I know how to live. I know where I am, why I'm here, and where I'm going. Knowing the answers to those fundamental questions means everything to me. I'm Mormon because in living my faith, I know that I come closer to my Savior and that I can be with God and my family forever.

Personal Stories

Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?

Prayer is a direct line to God. I love the ability that we all have to communicate with Him at anytime we need or want to. Prayer is such a critical part of my life because I know Heavenly Father is listening every time. Prayer is a way for me to show my faith in God, because though I can't see Him I know He's there and that He cares. I feel His love through prayer and I feel His strength. Prayer gives me a chance to thank Heavenly Father for all my blessings gratitude is a way I show God how I love Him. I am a daughter of God, and prayer is one of the key ways in which I draw closer to Him.

How I live my faith

Living my faith comes in doing the small things. I read the scriptures, I pray, and I serve those around me. Those may all seem like simple acts, but for me, they're all acts of faith. I know that in doing the small things I'm allowing my Heavenly Father to build me into the person He wants me to be. My life is about diligence, and while I sometimes falter, I believe in the power of Christ's Atonement.

I also live my faith through service in my church callings. The organization of our church is focused on the individual. The ward is designed so that the needs of the ward members are served by the other members. We all serve each other, and it's wonderful.
