Chad: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Chad

I love to travel and meet new people. I've been married for 12 awesome years and have 4 amazing kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from an awesome family of 6 kids and fantastic parents. I served as a full time missionary for the LDS church to southern Spain where, to this day, are found some of my closest friends.

I hit the jackpot by marrying the most amazing woman. We've been married for 12 years and have 4 incredible children.

I work in Technology and Marketing which I enjoy, but spending time with loved ones is where I prefer to be.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 2 years old I snuck out into the backyard of my house. My dad was down washing a tennis court in our yard. Unbeknownst to anyone I fell into our swimming pool and drowned. My dad found me motionless, not breathing, face down and floating in the water. Miraculously he was able to revive me.

Drowning is the first memory I can remember. Although it may have seemed scary, it has given me a sense of purpose. I feel like I was divinely spared to accomplish greatness. Greatness that I feel I’ve accomplished every time I look at my 4 amazing children.

I’m a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I’m unabashedly converted. Words cant explain how my relationship with Jesus Christ has affected the person I have become. I can trace my lifes BIGGEST BLESSINGS to his unwavering principles. I can’t force my children to believe the same way. I can however insure that when I die, there will be no doubt in their minds that their Father never doubted.

Personal Stories

Why/How do you share the gospel with your friends?

Ironically, I've had more close friends be baptized during my ordinary life than I ever did as a full time LDS missionary. The lifestyle and belief system I have adopted from being a member of the LDS church has brought me immeasurable joy. I enjoy sharing the keys of that joy to those who find it appealing. Many people have actually approached me with interest in the Mormon Faith. My neighbor was such a person I was able to introduce him to the Church. That was over a year ago. Recently his brother joined as well. The Gospel means “Good News” and good news typically spreads quickly!

How I live my faith

I think first and foremost, we’ve been given two great counsels by the Lord. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
I’d add: Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
I don’t pretend to be perfect. But I think if we love each other a little more and judge people a little less, we’ll all be the better for it.
I admittedly spend a decent amount of time serving my church. Making visits to those in need, sharing messages from the scriptures with fellow church members or discussing religion with those of many of the world’s great faiths. Time after time I end up being the greatest beneficiary of these experiencees. It truly makes me grateful to have such opportunities.
